Viña Amézola 2019

We offer you our best-known wine, our Viña Amézola Crianza 2019, in its most popular format. It is a magnum bottle of one and a half litre that helps to round the wine better.    Format: 1.5 litres.    Vintage: 2019, the last vintage classified as ‘Excellent’ in La Rioja left us wines with great fruity expressiveness, elegant and silky and full-bodied.    Varietals: We select our grapes by parcels; 85% Tempranillo from Viña Vieja de Arriba, Viña Vieja de Abajo, Arenillas and Pajarcillos, 10% Mazuelo from Faisanes, and 5% Graciano from Barbarroja.    Winemaking: This wine has a long maceration of 21 days in tank. It is then aged in French (40%) and American (60%) oak barrels for 15 months. The rest in bottle.    Tasting notes: Bright red colour. Fine and elegant nose with notes of blackberry jam and red fruits of the forest together with well-assembled oak. Good fruit expression, balanced, ample and persistent. Long acidity and aftertaste.    Pairing: Scrambled eggs, roasts, white meats.
